Xiaomi held a big event in India today, where the international debut of the Redmi Note 12 series took place. In typical Redmi fashion, 

The Redmi Note 12 5G series has been introduced by Xiaomi in India. The Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G are the three smartphones available in the series.

The Redmi Note 12 5G is the least expensive phone out of the three. It has a starting price of Rs 16,499 for each unit.

Featuring a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display is the Redmi Note 12 5G. According to Xiaomi, the gadget can produce vivid picture quality and fine details.

The screen has 4096 intelligently-adjusted brightness levels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.A capable chipset for everyday use, the MediaTek Dimensity 1080, powers the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. 

With a 7.9mm thickness, the smartphone is advertised as being the thinnest Note series phone ever. The phone comes in three different colour options: Mystique Blue, Frosted Green, and Matte Black.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 from Qualcomm powers the Redmi Note 12 5G. It has dual 5G SIM support and is based on a chipset with a 6nm process.

The Redmi Note 12 5G has two RAM variations. It is available with internal storage options of 128GB UFS 2.2 and 4GB and 6GB RAM LPDDR4X, respectively.

The smartphone's operating system is MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. Two years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates are promised by the company.

At the back of the Redmi Note 12 5G is a triple camera setup. A 48MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture is present. It has a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4  

People will be able to stream 1080p content on video streaming apps like Netflix thanks to the panel's support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Widevine L1.
